The first one to comment 😀 I have never used a Laban Pen before. Thanks Penhabit for this opportunity!

  • Vlad Ardeleanu

    Thanx for the great review!

  • tg

It’s pretty sweet of you to make frequent giveaways. But I would follow your reviews regardless, they are of great quality and provide a lot of information. Cheers!

  • Andres Amaya

I would use Mont Blanc Daniel Defoe or Poppy Red.

  • Joseph Kardia

I intend on getting my hands on a nice deep brown soon, So if I won this pen, I’d likely ink it up with something like Caran d’Ache Grand Canyon or MB Toffee Brown if I can’t find the other.

Also thank you so much for your wonderfully detailed reviews, you really test everything to the point that I feel like I would know what I’d be getting should I order something.

  • Joseph Quinton

    Fingers crossed

  • Logan Landgraf

Would love to put some Iroshizuku Fuyu-gaki in this and write all day.

  • Pascal Leers

I would use Diamine sepia. Still my favourite ink.

  • TomJ

Great giveaway. Would ink this up with SBRE Brown Brown!

  • Mae

Alas, my ink collection is yet small, but trite as it is, the lovely fall colors would tempt me to break out the Apache Sunset.

  • Lance Green

It looks great, I really enjoy how the inner diameter is really then giving extra weight to the acrylic portion of the pen (because of the increased material). I’d probably use Apache Sunset.

  • Joanna Mei

Ideally, I’d grab Autumn Oak or Apache Sunset, but since I don’t own those inks.. I’ll probably bust out the Rouge Hematite. Its such a lovely pen, it deserves some nice ink! Thanks for the giveaway! Hope you have a lovely holiday!

  • Senna Ferguson

Its because of you that I’m in to fountain pens <3 <3 <3

  • John Kiddier

I tend to have to use black ink for work, but I’ve just ordered a bottle of Onoto Sapphire Blue for my Magna Classic, so I’d probably give this one a go! Really enjoy the reviews. I’ve not been collecting very long so any additions are welcome!!

What ink I would use… maybe noodler’s Walnut, or De Atramentis Giuseppe Verdi, a blue ink notwithstanding the name.

  • Jason Rye

I adore this pen! I wonder what ink would fit it best!?

  • Matt Taylor

If I had anything left of my sample of Diamine Ancient Copper, that’d be what I would use. So I’d probably use Diamine Red Dragon. One of my favorite inks ever and at this point, the only thing that would remotely match the color of the acrylic. (Looks like it might be time for me to pull the trigger and buy a bottle of Ancient Copper!)

  • 57721

I’m pretty sure the first ink I’d put in this pen would be Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue, as that’s the (bottled) ink I’m most familiar with and thus use as an “ink base line” with which to compare different pens. This is like my ink equivalent to your Rhodia Dotpad. 😀

  • Bill
