Grail pen is a slightly less bling bling than usual Visconti, The Metal Opera, feels sooo nice in the hand and that nib . . . mmm.

  • Luke Kelly

Such a beauty, Thanks Mat, for everything you do.

  • Erik K. Fritz

My Grail pen is… well, I don’t exactly know. A year ago I had just bought a Pelikan M600, used, and I was alternating between glee and shock that I’d spent so much on a pen. Now I’ve got two M800s and a couple OMAS, so clearly things have escalated. I’d really like a Nakaya, and a Sailor Pro Gear KOP, and the vermillion Pilot 845, and…

  • My current grail pen is the Nakaya Negoro in the Nuno Kise Hon Kataji finish. Such a beauty.

  • Hello Mat. First I wanted to tank you for your very informative videos, they helped me a lot with some of the problems I came up with. My current grail pen is the PLATINUM 3776 CENTURY SAKURA. Hope to find it when I will go to Japan.

  • Derik Ling Yii Zhan

My current grail pen is an Omas 360 <3

  • Pascal Leers

My current grail pen is my Omas Arco Celluloide. It looks stunning. The nib is an extra fine. But the smoothest extra fine I ever tried. Semi flex. Sadly Omas has bitten the dust.

  • Nathan Weston

Currently a Lamy 2000 with a fine nib; has been for a while now 🙂

  • Simon Cook

My current grail pen, as in the one I would really like to have, is the Aurora Optima in green with gold trim and a fine nib. The grail pen out of the ones I own is the Markiaro Trentaremi in red with a medium Bock nib

  • Sean Friel

My current grail pen is the Conway Stewart 24. Thanks for the great giveaway

  • My grail pen is a restored vintage Waterman wet noodle.

  • Mihir

My current grail pen is the Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age.

  • Jan Scott

Another great review. Grail seems a very big pressure. I’m pretty happy with the pens I have but I would like a Visconti Homo Sapiens.

    • claudia barcellos

yeah, i don´t know if it is because i am not an english speaker as first language but the therm grail seemed to me another thing, not the idealized pen. I thought would be like a pen you use all the time

  • Ron

My grail pen is an ONOTO Magna.

  • David

My grail pen is the Visconti Divina Metropolitan. So beautiful.

  • NelsonR

Current grail pen is David Oscaron’s Harlequin.

  • Jose M Manimala

    Beautiful pen

  • Leonie Dodds

Current grail pen is my blue Conklin All American with stub nib; bless internet shopping or this pen would never have landed in my Australian hands! Future grail pens are too many for this short space. Diplomats are now high on list but hellishly hard to find here!

  • AbdElRhman Zagloul

Well my grail pen would be the parker 180

  • My grail pen? I don’t know… Maybe something like a Nakaya (any model would do.) But frankly, those are too pricey to truly enjoy. I would much prefer a diplomat. 🙂

  • My grail pen? Hopefully the Metropolitan, it’s going to be my very first fountain! Can’t wait to pick it up 🙂

    • claudia barcellos

hahaha, it´s not my very first, but I think just you and I posted such an entry level pen. nice to meet you anyway

      • Yeah, I believe pretty much everyone else here got expensive pens ahah! Hope this means one of us will get the goods 😀

        • claudia barcellos

well, i hope tto. would be a very very very happy girl with this pen in my hands <3

        • Randy R

Welcome to the “club”! I think you’ll find a very wide range of prices sported by pen fans and there always seems to be one we yearn for just over the horizon. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Metropolitans! They are very functional, reasonably rugged, yet sufficiently attractive and have some reliably wonderful nibs. Enjoy the hobby and try not to fall too far down the rabbit hole too fast.

          • Ahahah too late! I’m just now practicing with disposable pens (Pilot Vpen and BIC disposable), but I’m already waiting for my big entry into this hobby!

            I ordered:
            Pilot Metropolitan (fine nib!)
            Pilot Plumix (with converter)
Jinhao X750 (less than 4 euros with free shipping on eBay – couldn’t leave it there!)
            Noodler’s Creaper
            Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki
            Diamine Asa Blue
            Tomoe River A4 (100 sheets)
Savini Calligraphy A4 (50 sheets – need to see what this is like, it’s very easy to get around in Italy and relatively cheap, but couldn’t find any reviews online! Probably gonna make one myself at some point)

          • Randy R

Yup, you’ve tripped, fallen down the rabbit hole and gotten yourself hooked alright. 😀 I’m not familiar with the Savini Calligraphy, but I’ve enjoyed the rest. Iroshizuku ink isn’t cheap, but it is one of the best in my opinion and well worth it. Kon-Peki is one of my favorite colors. Enjoy!

Good luck to you and Claudia and all the rest of (us) with Matt’s giveaways. He sure has some nice stuff and is awfully generous with it all (as are his sponsors)!!

  • Lori Arrowood

I guess my grail pen is my Pilot Custom 74 – I have one in Smoke with a M nib, and I’d like to get one in orange with an F nib.

  • Raphty

A Conid regular, i wanted a conid for quite some time, I thought I would want the minimal, but since your review I think i prefere the regular.

  • Sarah Syers

Current grail pen is a Whal Eversharp decoband with the extra flexible nib. Any colour would do, but the blue is stunning.

  • Andy

my current grail pen is the wahl-eversharp decoband with the semi-flex nib

  • Alexander Zurek

Hmm Grails. Easy. Aurora Optima green auroloide in a stub or fine

  • Ava

My grail pen is a grail pen in the sense that I’ll likely never be able to get it – a Visconti Divina Metropolitan. It’s such a gorgeous pen, but I’m a poor college student and don’t have that kind of money.

  • marytudor

My current grail pen is my Lamy Safari, charcoal with a fine nib.

  • jenn

my grail pen is a visconti divina. so beautiful~

  • David

I’m trying to be patient for Franklin-Christoph to produce the Model 20 in the Ice finish again. Oh the waiting…

  • Greg Glasson

The pen I’d currently love to have is the Pilot Custom 823 with a medium nib. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • Matt McNichol

My collection is rather small at this point, but currently my grail pen would have to be a fine nib Lamy 2000.

  • Bradley Weidemann

I have always wanted a Parker Duofold in Pearl and Black.

  • Chris M

My current grail pen would be the Pilot Custom 74 fine nib. Either in Blue or Orange.

  • Luke Richards

My current grail is the Aurora Optima 365 in the brown finish.

  • Sean Friel

My grail pen though I don’t have it is the Kaweco supra. I’m saving up for it.
    Great giveaway. Thank you

  • Carlos Iván Fuentes

My current grail pen is the Montblanc Heritage Collection 1912… however, I have decided that if I buy it, it wont be until 2018. 🙁

  • Giovanni Gasco

My grail pen is an OMAS 360 made in wood which I would like to buy if I ever got the money to spend on it. Tried three times, and was absolutely SPLENDID. Your Grail Pen is the Classic Pens LB5, am I right ? 😀

  • Fates

My grail pen would have to be a Visconti Homo Sapiens London Fog with a fine nib. It’s just a drop dead gorgeous pen.

  • Christian Haitz

My current grail pen and probably will be for the rest of my life is a Montblanc Writer’s Edition Ernest Hemingway.

  • Philip Strother

  • Levente Fazekas

My grail pen is an Eversharp Doric 😀

Mm, probably a Visconti Homo Sapiens. But I’m scared of the QC issues.

  • Anzan Hoshin Roshi

My grail pen is whatever I next order from Edison Pen Co.

  • Jacob

My grail pen is a Pilot Vanishing Point in Matte Black with a Medium nib.

  • Stephanie Jung

My ‘grail’ pen in the sense that there is a paper-thin chance of me ever acquiring it is Sailor’s Creatures of the Deep in the Sunfish pattern. I love sunfish! And pens!

A more achievable grail pen for me is a vintage Parker Duofold. So beautiful.

  • Joe

My new grail pen would most likely be the Visconti Divina Elegance in Wall Street Green Celluloid. Good god, it looks like it’s from another planet.

  • My grail pen currently is a Master’s italic from Manuscript. It feels cheap but it is the only pen that I’ve found with a real italic nib out of the box. I might try an Aurora, as I understand they have real italic nibs.

    • You could also try the Franklin-Christophs, as you can get them with Masuyama Italics.

      • I did not know that and I just saw your review on model 19. I’m sold on one of these!

  • DMBigfoot

    What a beautiful pen!

    • claudia barcellos

      indeed

  • Jennifer Brinn

I don’t know if I have a “grail” pen, really. I’d like to get a Homo Sapiens Dark Ages someday, and a higher-end Sailor, though not sure which one yet. But I’d like someday to be able to spend $1000 on a pen and think “This is really worth it,” so when I find a pen I love that much to save that much, I’ll have a grail to work for. I do have a list of pens to fill out my roster with, that I slowly am working my way through acquiring.

  • Michael M.

My grail would be a Viscanti Wall Street with a fine nib. Soooo handsome!

  • Dieandra

My grail pen would be a Montblanc Blue Hour 146, I just can’t get that color out of my head!

  • Fernando Alain Nin

My current Grail pen is a Classic Pens LB5 in the Kouseki Brown.

  • Ryan D

My current grail pen has to be one of the 2013 Classic Pens LR6 Planets.

  • Ben

My current Grail is my new Platinum Century 3776 fine nib in Bourgogne. Great writer, and love the ink flow, as well as the rich translucent body.

  • T. Fitz

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    • claudia barcellos

      really thanks

  • Justin Davis

My grail pen is an Eboya Ricchiku, in red.

  • Not sure I have a grail pen (in fact I’m pretty sure I don’t). I had my eye on the Conklin Duragraph for a long time until I got it a couple of weeks ago (loving it btw). I really liked the Conid you reviewed a while back, but it’s way too expensive for me. I also saw a video today of the Conklin 26P with some massive flex that would be really cool, but I’m not sure I would like the maintenance of a vintage pen.

  • Daniel R

My current grail pen is the Omas Ogiva (or any Omas) in the brown arco celluloid. Too bad I will never get one. 🙁

  • Tiffany

My current grail is a Pilot CH92 clear!

My current grail pen would be the Edison Menlo pump filler! Fine gold nib.

  • EelyHovercraft

    I don’t have a grail pen. Not yet 🙁

Wow. Thank you for the great giveaway

  • Jhannaford

The Conid Bulkfiller is my current “Grail” pen.

  • Tami

My current grail is the Visconti London Fog. So pretty.

  • Alexander Apukov

My current grail pen is the graf von faber-castell classic.

  • 57721

I don’t really have a grail pen, yet. There are a lot of pens that I’d like to get my hands on in the future, all of them being (far) out of my price range at this point in my life, but none that really stands out.

  • Julia van der Wyk

Oh dear, well I guess one of those specialty nibs from Sailor would qualify as a grail, although no current plans to acquire one.

  • Steve Arman

My grail pen (today at least) is a Visconti Homo Sapiens. Gotta buy a lottery ticket!

  • Denise

would love to win this one!

  • JessTate

I currently don’t have a holy grail pen. I am new to the hobby and still discovering what I like/want and don’t like/want. I currently like the platinum preppy and pilot kakuno (but it is a bit too wet for the cheap paper).

  • Chuck G

My current grail is a sailor pro gear imperial black with a broad nib. Thanks!

  • Ryan H

My Grail Pen is a Visconti Homo Sapiens.

  • Timothy Cawthorne

The Excellence A in Midnight Blue is the pen wherein I am most interested, for now.

  • Alan Daniel

I am really attracted to the Visconti Homo Sapiens. The look, the feel…

  • Gordon

I’d say my current ‘grail pen’ (as in, can’t afford it, never going to happen!) would be a high-end Visconti – a Homo Sapiens (any kind), or a Divina, or maybe an Opera Master…?

  • matthew pollock

im to new to have a grail pen but a custom made pen would be close

  • Cosima Kafka

My current grail pen is a Visconti Van Gogh, In order to earn it, I will need to get my driver’s license. I have been very reluctant to practice despite having my permit since reckless drivers scare me. So it will be a big mile stone for me and I think I can justify spending the money that way.

  • Jason Yu

my daily writer is a faber castell wooden ondoro. I got it as a gift from my parents so it means a lot to me. Thank you for reviewing the pen. A diplomat aero is on top of my list for 2017

  • Kenneth Clayton

My grail pen would be a Nakaya Dorsal Fin version 2 urushi heki-tamenuri.

  • I don’t actually have a “grail” pen at the moment, there are a lot of pens I’m looking into at the moment, but I’m not sold on any of them quite yet. In the running for my first gold nib pen are the Pilot CH92 and the Lamy 2K and Sailor Pro Gear.

  • Smithman

My current Grail pen is Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age Maxi. “It’s made of frickin’ lava!” -Brian Goulet

  • Erie Quintanilla

My current grail is a century 3776 burgogne soft fine

  • Mackenzie Kurzynski

I have two pens which I consider to be grail pens. One is a Classic Pens LB5 Midorigi, and the other is a Montblanc 139. It will, unfortunately, be a while before I get to own either.

Keep the excellent content coming, Matt. Love all your videos.

    • claudia barcellos

      me too

  • Stefan

I guess my grail would be a David Oscarson. Their Sankta Lucia and Valhalla editions looks fantastic.

  • DexterL

My grail pen is Platinum 3776 Sai with a fine nib.

  • Tanner Woolf

My grail pen is an Omas (any one) with the arco celluloid!

  • kandm25

Love so many vintage pens…but my current grail pen is the Aurora 88 Sole. The vibrant color is intoxicating!

  • Jim

My grail pen would have to be the aquamarine Pelikan M205. I love it a lot, it’s also the most expensive fountain pen in my collection.

  • Matt Allen

I just picked up a few weeks back a Faber-Castell Loom and man does it write buttery smooooth; especially for only 30bucks. One of my favorite writers for sure; so the Loom is my current grail pen.

    • claudia barcellos

I really want to get this pen, never did it though

      • Matt Allen

Totally put it on your list!!

  • Charlie Buhler

My current grail pen is one of the new raden Vanishing Points—I haven’t decided which one yet.

But if we are only talking about new pens, I always wanted to have a Homo Sapiens.

  • JRK

My current grail pen is an Aurora Optima

  • Nick

My current grail pen has to be a Namiki Emperor in Urushi Vermillion… That nib is MASSIVE and eyecatching! I’d take it in a broad. If it were to be able to come as a soft nib I’d do that as well.

  • Marie-Paule Graham

Current grail pen: Visconti Opera Club Nordic Fjord with a 14k nib. One day.

  • Jani Pitkänen

After your review of Conid Bulkfiller, it instantly became my grail pen.

My current ‘grail’ pen is TWSBI 580 clear.

    • claudia barcellos

and are you enjoying so far? I´m thinking about get one of those. would you recomend?

      • Lyndsay Alvin T. Ng

Absolutely! Looks great, writes great. First impression when I got it is WOW! This pen is a jewel!

        • claudia barcellos

thank you! unfortunately they don´t deliver in my country. and is I think exclusive – will make some research, but the price here was great 🙁

        • claudia barcellos

OMG I tought I was talking about a monteverd intima (have you seen it? it´s GORGEOUS! sorry, twsbi is a pen that I am sure I will be delighted to get. but maybe will go to eco. do u have one?

          • Lyndsay Alvin T. Ng

Yes, the clear model. TWSBI Eco is their more affordable pen. Same smooth nib. Only difference is aesthetics.

  • Filipe Mamede

I think my actual grail pen is the Visconti Homo Sapiens, Bronze age!

  • Willem Genis

My current grail pen is a Conid Bulkfiller with a titanium nib.

  • Koen Hausmans

My grail pen is a Lamy 2000!

  • Narundil

At the moment my Pilot CH 92, clear, with a FM nib is as close to something like a grail as i could ever mention. Anyhow, i think that my next big investment might become a real grail pen for me: The Pelikan M800 in blue with a F nib.

  • Damian Frontiera

I’m not usually a fan of Green pens but this one is beautiful! It’s gone on my wishlist!

    • claudia barcellos

      I just LOVE green pens

  • Schrift

  • sharon888

My current grail pen is a Nakaya Decapod.

  • Daniel Taub

Grail pen? Hmmm, maybe a vintage mandarin yellow full-size Parker Duofold in perfect condition?

  • Alexandre Sicard

My current grail pen is a Lamy 2000 with a medium nib ground to an architect point. I love the midcentury design of that pen and think an architect grind would suit a pen from the golden age of modern architecture.

  • claudia barcellos

My current grail pen is a black pilot metropolitan fine nib with original cartridge, because I just could buy it. I´ve never have a gold nib fountain pen and watching matt´s review of the pen was really hard not to fall in love. beautiful and desired pen <3

  • Luca Mosca

Current grail pen is a Diplomat Traveller! It writes beautifully. That plastic section, though… I can’t really complain anyway. =)

  • Wumbo

Don’t have a fountain pen yet, so my “grail” is just a regular Uni-Ball Visionelite!

  • Shihao Li

My current grail pen is probably either the Parker Duofold or Sailor 1911!

  • Dylan Nguyen

My grail pen is the nayaka asending dragon desk pen, it locks just plain awesome!

  • Randy R

I do love my Pilot Custom 74 (in the Brian-Goulet-preferred-Blue color!) but I’d have to say I actually long for a Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age. Anything with a smooth, wet nib ranks very highly in my opinion. — Thanks, as always, for your reviews and give-a-ways.

    Best wishes to all entrants!

  • Dragonmaster Lou

My current “grail” pen would be a Sailor King of Pen, though I’m not sure as to the finish I’d like on it. Either ebonite or green marble resin.

  • anaximander70

My grail pen is a Nakaya, but I haven’t figured out which model or finish yet.

  • Chris

My current “grail” pen is the Parker 21. Black with gold trim. Fine nib.

My current grail pen is a Lamy 2000, with EF nib. Hoping to move up

  • Adam Harris

Looks like a nice pen. I like the green color.

  • Ted A

My current grail pen would be a Nakaya

  • mklages

My grail pen would be an Edison Pearl in black/red ebonite. My holy grail pens are: Aurora 88 Sigaro and a Nakaya Cigar long Aka-tamenuri. Till then my current grail pen is my Aurora Idea. Thank you Matt for your hard work and the generosity of Points of Distinction. That green is fantastic.

  • Hana Lee

My grail pen is a Danitrio Sho-Genkai in Tame-midori.

  • Andrew Wolfson

My grail would probably be an Edison Menlo pump filler with a gold nib, or their Beaumont with the pneumatic filler. As a buckeye myself, I’d love to have a pen made in my home state. The fact that they have such a great reputation and look awesome doesn’t hurt at all either.

  • E Smith

I’m still rather new to the hobby, but I love unusual pen filling mechanisms. The Edison Beumont Pneumatic is my current grail pen 🙂 With my handwriting, though, I’d probably need an extra-fine tip to make it my go-to pen.

  • Kim Fierens

My grail pen is the Nakaya Decapod Heki-tamenuri.

  • My current Grail pen is the Nakaya Decapod Twist.

  • Manuel Puente

    Lamy al-star! I’m just starting 🙁

  • My grail pen is my Kaweco ART Sport in alabaster. The acrylic is beautiful, the size is good for my small hands and easy to carry, but it’s not something I feel has, to be displayed in a glass case so I can put it to the test every day and not have to worry about it.

  • Bryan

Since I only have a twsbi 580al, its got to be twsbi 580al, just started this whole pen journey

  • Keith

My grail pen is a Montegrappa Copper Mule with a broad nib.

  • Pavel C

My current grail pen is Visconti Homo Sapiens.

  • Jan

My current grail pen is a Lamy 2000 with a medium nib.

  • K Dunham

My current grail is an old Pelican, a green one, with a heart shaped breather hole.

  • Matt

My grail pen is a TWSBI Vac 700, can’t really afford anything more though haha.

  • Michael Davis

Thanks for the Contest! A beautiful pen!

  • Kenneth

My current grail pen is a Sailor King of Pens 🙂

  • My grail pen is the 3776 Century, a pen I discovered thanks to the Pen Habit!

  • I’ve been wanting one of these beautiful gold nibs for a while, now! My “grail” at the moment is probably a Conid. They’re really cool.

  • Can Berk Çetin

My current grail pen is Waterman Carene with contemporary silver cap and black body in Fine. It is growing on me more everytime I use it. It glides across the page even though it has fine nib.
It’s inlaid nib even attracts people who I know would not be interested in fountain pens. Actually I made a friend get into this hobby just by showing this beauty.
My previous was platinum 3776 in burgundy. It is still a good pen, i like it but i cannot keep many pens inked at the same time. It won’t do justice to either of them if I kept both inked at the same time.

  • Dan McKillop

My current grail pen is a TWSBI 580AL Blue. My collection is not expensive.

  • Logan Scheiwe

My holy grail is a Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age or the Visconti Watermark. I love the high end Visconti pens.

  • vis

    Stunning pen.

  • Ross Mendenhall

My grail pen is a Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age.

  • Dan Gilardi

My current grail pen is a sailor 1911 realo with the silver trim.

  • Greg Barnette

My current grail pen is a Sailor 1911 Large, Black with Rhodium Trim with a Broad nib.

  • My current “grail pen” (I assume this means the best pen I have) is the Sheaffer Legacy II that I got from Vanness after watching you’re review of it. While initially it didn’t write very well, this was very likely due to my nervousness about writing with a gold nib, fearing that merely putting it on the paper would ruin the nib or something… However once I got over that initial fear it writes like a dream. It’s currently my most expensive and prized pen.

  • Ian Wolfe

My current grail pen is the Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age with a B or BB nib! If you have an extra one of those lying around I have a good place for it! =)

  • woo jae jang

i have yet to own a pen but one that i’m looking forward to buy in the future is Pilot Vanishing Point

  • Adam

My grail pen now would be a vanishing point. It’s high on the list and just a little out of my price range.

  • Jake

    Classic Pens LB5

  • John

My current grail pen is a Lamy 2000 with a fine nib.

  • Pen Arbor

My current grail pen is my Visconti Van Gogh Maxi. I have two of them, both are spectacular!

  • kenneth noh

My current grail pen is the Pilot Custom 76 with a soft fine nib.

  • Julio Raúl Mazariegos

My grail pen is my Twsbi 580 Diamond with his amazing ink well. So in love with it

  • Kevin

My current grail pen is the Visconti Homo Sapiens London Fog. Beautiful pen that writes amazingly.

  • Edward M

My favorite grail pen is my Faber Castell Loom in a medium nib. It is a smooth writing experience.

  • Brian Rose

My grail pen would be an Eversharp Decoband with a flexible nib.

  • Daven Savla

I am having difficulty right now settling on one. I waver back and forth between the Sailor Pro Gear and the Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age. They’re both so nice and so completely different that I can’t decide. It helps that I can’t afford either right now so I don’t have to worry about choosing.

  • Paloma

My current grail pen is the Montblanc Daniel Defoe

  • Brandon Zhao

My current grail pen are the classic pens lb5

  • Anastasia

My grail pen would be the Visconti Homo Sapiens lava Bronze Age with a fine or extra fine nib. GOOOOD I love those pens.

  • Fredrik Nordström

My grail pen at the moment is my Pelikan M800 (Blue Striated) with a fine nib.

  • brooke steele

My grail pen is the Visconti Homo Sapiens. I like the way it feels, but I’m not ready to spend that much on a pen.

  • Ultimate Pixel

My current one is Scriptorium Pens Idyll, they have lots of very cool materials.

  • Brian Love

I really want a Dark Ages Visconti! With an Architect grind!

  • My grail pen was the Delta Grey Shadow Demonstrator, but when I finally got one, the section was more green than grey which ruined it for me.
So now I have a lot of “want” pens, but nothing in the “grail” pen range.

  • Jaclyn Myers

My grail pen is a custom Newton Pen.

  • Danelle Sorensen

I’ve had my eye out for a vintage Wahl-Eversharp for a while, hoping to snag a “wet noodle,” so I found your review of the modern Decoband very interesting.

  • Daniel Rendzionek

I believe my current grail pen is Sheaffer Millenium with a Medium 18k nib. I hope it won’t crack as some other Millenium do.

  • Witty Walnut

My current grail pen would be either a Visconti Homo Sapiens or maybe a Pelikan M805 Stresemann. But there are so many brands and pens out there, I don’t even know where to get that amount of money! 😀

Oh and let me add a pen from Conid! 😀

  • Joseph Lafayette

I’ve only just started my fountain pen collection with a Pilot Metropolitan and a Pilot Prera, but my current “grail” pen would have to be a TWSBI Vac Mini, which I hope to get as soon as possible. Your review actually introduced me to it, and I just can’t get over how wonderful the filling mechanism seems.

  • Michael Davis

Oh and my current grail pen is the Pilot Custom 823 with a fine nib with a Waverley grind. I wants it!

  • Graham Duncan

    Current Grail?
Franklin-christoph Model 19 thanks to your review, btw because of your reviews my children will more than likely receive no college education, but will enjoy a range of wonderful fountain pens after my demise

    Cheers
    G

  • Keon Jin

The Pilot Metropolitan is my current grail pen

  • Ben Stolz

My current grail pen is a Conid Bulkfiller. Probably a demonstrator. I’d go with a 0.4-0.5 stub.

  • My current holy grail is a Visconti Limited Edition Pininfarina Iridium. That’s way out of my league, but it’s lovely in photos.

  • Ai Lake

My current grail pen is a Namiki Yukari fountain pen, Moonlight with a fine nib.

  • Plainscrafter

Thanks for the giveaway. Current Grail would a Pelikan M800

  • Justin Jones

My current grail pen is my Pilot Vanishing Point in the Blue Matte finish with a fine nib!

  • Stefan Engvall

My grail pen is the Visconti Divina Metropolitan, preferably green.

  • Laura

From your review, this sounds like a grail pen writing-wise but looks-wise I like the Visconti artist-inspired pens.

  • Theadore Bundle

I say mine is the Pilot Vanishing Point Raden

  • Alhaza Ei Templari

My grail pen is the m1000.

  • sergio sie

My current grail pen is the Kaweco Sport with EF nib.

My grail pen (at the moment) is the modern Wahl Eversharp Decoband with the superflex fine nib – I’ve been wanting one since seeing your review (well done).

  • Renée Brozowski

My grail pen is a pilot custom 912

  • Awesome pen

  • evamvid

Current grail pen is a Pilot Myu/M90

  • Caleb Abraham

I’m new to the habit, so my Pilot Metropolitan is the temporary grail. Learning so much from this site though.

  • My grail is the pilot murex. I’m new to the hobby so it will be awhile before it’s purchased but it really caught my eye.

  • Elvis Mystérieux

    grail pen: Pelikan M800

  • Max

My grail pen is the Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age. From the palladium nib, volcanic body and bronze trim, it just shouts luxury.

  • ItwasLuck

My grail pen is definitely my Visconti Kakadu with the old 18K medium nib they used to do.
